Virtual Private Servers, also known as Virtual Dedicated Servers, are 'isolated partitions', known as Virtual Environments, on a single physical server. Each of these Virtual Environments emulates it's own hardware, and the Operating System would be installed in each of these virtual environments not knowing that is being installed and run in a virtual environment.
At the moment, we are offering CentOS Linux pre installed, together with Plesk control panel for administration and access to Virtuozzo Power Panel for access to unlimited server re-boots, switch on/off and many other features.
The process consists of installing the base operating system on the physical server, which will then run the Virtualization platform. From this platform, multiple virtual environments can be created.
When you order a VPS, a virtual environment would be created for you, and an operating system installed in it, together with all the required software for hosting your website, email services, DNS services, etc..
Allowing full customisation, it gives you full control same as you would have if you run a physical dedicated server, but at a fraction of the cost! You will be given full root/administrator access via SSH.
Our virtual private servers differ from those of our competitors because we limit the number of these virtual environments on each physical server to a minimum, ensuring maximum resource availability for your VPS.
