ABSTRACT
A lattice is constructed capable of producing solitons at the highest energies and smallest scale of length with suggestions being made concerning soliton propagation to lower energy levels and their ultimate fate as sub-atomic particles with evidence from existing published works. The effect of ‘noise’ has been considered. After various aspects of conventional physics are examined concerning their validity, an electromagnetic origin for gravity is examined whereby in the remote past (as well as now), the zero-point bath of radiation resulted in a small residual attraction residing in electrons that manifests only in stable atoms where all charges are in equilibrium. That idea is extended by an analysis of the acceleration caused by that ‘residual energy’ without reliance on dimensionality. In passing, the cause of the accelerating expansion of the universe becomes clear.
